Writing Prompt Excercise — 100 Words

I can imagine a world where I am forced to agree with everything you say, lest you withhold your friendship. We live in it.

I can imagine a world where I let hurts and insults and slights go, because you don’t realise how awful you’re being. We live in that one too.

I can imagine a world where I’m forced to change, while you stay the same. Yes, that is our world.

I can’t imagine a world in which you see that you’re wrong, much less admit it. That world is a pleasant lie I tell myself; it doesn’t exist.
