WorldEmber 2020

Back in the summer, I decided to try out World Anvil. They’re a NaNoWriMo sponsor, and I was interested in the world-building tools. I signed up, created a bunch of stubs for my new series, and then completely stopped working on it. It wasn’t for lack of wanting to work on it, but it was just an item on my to-do list that I never got around to doing.

Having the account and being in the Discord, however, meant I was able to see the announcement for their WorldEmber event.

The goal of WorldEmber is to write 10,000 words in your world-building project over the course of the month.

This sounds like a great way to get in the details I have been meaning to work through on the new project. So, in December, I plan to get at least 10,000 words on my worldbuilding project. It will be nice to cross that off my to-do list for a change, rather than bumping it forward forever.
